在北京乘坐出租汽车可以预定(zàiběijīngchéngzuòchūzūqìchēk)，也可在宾馆(yěkězàibīnguǎn)、饭店外边随叫随到(fàndiànwàibiansuíjiàosuídào)。由于车型不同(yóuyúchēxíngbùtóng)，收费也不同(shōufèiyěbùtóng)。每部车均有里程显示器(měibùchējūnyǒulǐchéngxiǎnshìq)。

In Beijing one can reserve taxis or call them at doorways of any hotels, restaurants at any time. Different models of taxis charge different prices. In each taxi there must be an odometer.

Mike:  How do I pay for fare?

司(sī)机(jī)：一(yī)公(gōng)里(lǐ)一(yí)块(kuài)二(èr)。

Driver:  One yuan and twenty fen per km.

麦(mài)克(kè)：我(wǒ)还(hái)要(yào)赶(gǎn)回(huí)来(lái)，您(nín)能(néng)不(bu)能(néng)等(děng)一(yì)会(huì)儿(er)？

Mike:  I'll be back. Can you wait a moment?

Driver:  Of course.

Mike:  How is the waiting fee determined?
